Attestation of construction professionals

An applicant wishing to replace his/her certificate of competence or recognition of rights document due to a change of name must:

1. apply to the SSVA for a change to your document. The application shall be accompanied by the documents referred to in clause 12.3, 12.4 or 43.4, 43.5 of STR 1.02.01:2017;
2. paying for replacement services in accordance with the fees approved by the Minister for the Environment;
3. receive information on the decision taken by the SSVA;
4. collect the document from the SSVA Self-Service website.

An applicant wishing to replace lost documents must:

1. apply to the SSVA for a change to your document. The application shall be accompanied by the documents referred to in clause 26 or 61 of STR 1.02.01:2017;
2. paying for replacement services in accordance with the fees approved by the Minister for the Environment;
3. receive information on the decision taken by the SSVA;
4. collect the document from the SSVA Self-Service website.

After successfully completing the attestation or recognition of right procedure, individuals will receive a notification of their electronic Certificate of Qualification or document of Recognition of Right, together with a link to download them, to the email address they have provided to SSVA.

From 1 May 2022, all certificates are produced electronically. Therefore, all electronic documents produced from this date onwards can be downloaded online via the SSVA self-service (https://savitarna.ssva.lt/login.php).

Certificates of Qualification and Recognition of Right Documents were produced in the traditional way (paper-based) until 30 April 2022. These documents can still be collected from the SSVA Secretariat (see the "Contact" menu).

    Paper documents can be received:

•  I - IV   8.00-11.30 and 14.00-16.30;
•  V   8.00-11.30 and 14.00-15.00.

When collecting paper documents, you must show your ID or power of attorney if you are doing so on behalf of another person.

Higher education institutions, associations, unions, other public organisations or educational institutions shall be entitled to develop programmes of professional knowledge examinations and to conduct professional knowledge examinations, except for architects whose professional knowledge is examined by the Lithuanian Chamber of Architects.
